We found another gem: Lundy House Hotel nestling high above Grunta Beach on the beautiful untamed North Devon coast, looking out across Grunta Beach to Lundy Island and beyond. The stunning views of the ocean can be seen from many of the eight bedrooms, residents' lounge and breakfast room. All of the eight en-suite bedrooms are immaculate presented and come equipped with generous hospitality trays, LCD TV, Wi-Fi and radio alarm clocks. The superior sea view rooms include a romantic 4-poster bedroom and have large bay windows where you can sit and gaze at the stunning views of Grunta Beach and the ocean beyond; the sunsets here are just to die for. The Georgian wing of Coulscott House with its high ceilings, impressive entrance hall and chandeliers has 5 bedrooms of which two are en suite, a family sized bathroom, a drawing

The three cottages have been converted from 18th century barns. The cottages are set away from the main house around a triangular courtyard. Epchris Guest House is a handsome late Georgian house that nestles in one and a half acres of grounds at the foot of the Torrs in the Wilder Valley, one of the most beautiful and tranquil spots near the town of Ilfracombe and the seafront.  The house has been beautifully and lovingly restored without detriment to its fine architectural heritage, retaining many of it’s original features.
